Steps to apply for VA Health Care Benefits

1. The form used is Form 10-10ez to apply
   1. a paper version – https://www.1010ez.med.va.gov/sec/vha/1010ez/Form/1010EZ-fillable.pdf
   2. Online application – https://www.1010ez.med.va.gov/sec/vha/1010ez/Form/1010ez.pdf
2. Follow the instructions on the form, if you need help filling out the information visit a Accredited Veterans Service Officer 
   1. They will be asking for the following information
      1. Discharge papers (DD-214)
      2. Medical Insurance information
      3. Financial information
      4. Marriage and family information
      5. VA Compensation information if you are receiving benefits

Note:  Not all veterans will be eligible for access to the VA Health Care system or they may be required to pay co-pay for some services based on the Category given to the veteran.
